Dallas, Texas

Dallas is the largest city in Texas and third-largest in America, with a population of 1,304,379 people. Dallas borders Collin County to the north; Kaufman County to its east; Rockwall county on its west side. It's known for hosting several events like Super Bowl XLV & World Series (2010).

The city of Dallas is located in North Texas and is the largest metropolitan area in the Southern United States. It lacks any navigable link to a sea, has 7.5 million people living there, and its central core lies around downtown Dallas where you will find many skyscrapers and busy streets filled with traffic during rush hour times every day. Get to know more about Texas here.

You'll never be bored in Dallas. Literally, dozens of major attractions are within a drive or a few miles from town, and Dallas has been one of the fastest-growing cities in America for over two decades. There's something for every age group, too. From sports to arts and culture, there's always something going on in this growing metroplex.

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science features various exhibitions that explore a broad range of natural history topics, from insects to astronomy. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza for a comprehensive look at John F. Kennedy's assassination, life on Elm Street during America's turbulent 1960's era, and the struggle for civil rights often referred to as "the most significant event in American history."

Texas is famous for its barbecue, but one of the lesser-known fun facts about Texas (at least to those outside the state) is that Texans don't necessarily agree on what BBQ should be.

Texas. It's a special place in so many ways, and now I have another reason to love it - how they prepare their meat! As much as we all like our favorite way of cooking meats or burgers, there are just some foods that taste better when cooked differently based upon where you're from.
