​​What to Do in Dallas, Texas in 24 Hours?

A weekend getaway to Dallas is fantastic. It's in the middle of Texas, making it a great starting point to explore Big Bend National Park and New Mexico. Dallas has easy access to the Fort Worth International Airport, so you can visit it on your way out of Texas or out of the United States!

If you have more time than that, I highly recommend extending your stay. There's a lot to see and do in Dallas!

 1) Visit the Sixth Floor Museum - Many individuals are looking for information on the area where President Kennedy was shot. The museum is informative and contains fascinating exhibits about the events that occurred in Dallas, as well as reactions throughout the United States and around the world.

2) Visit Dealey Plaza - If you're interested in history, it's super interesting to see this site of such a historical event!

3) Eat at Reunion Tower - There is a viewing deck in Dallas, which I highly encourage you to visit. There are restaurants with fantastic views of the city, and if you're hungry after dinner, go down Elm Street!

4) Have Drinks at Sundown - It's nice to stay out in air conditioning as much as possible during the summer. After getting a drink of air, go out to Elm Street!

5) Shopping at West Village - This is a nice location with a variety of restaurants and stores. If you're searching for a place to stay, consider this area! There are several lovely patios in the area that allow you to enjoy the Dallas summer evening.

6) Go Out on Elm Street -This is where all of Dallas' bars are located.  

7) Take a Day Trip to Fort Worth - If you have time between plans, consider going to Fort Worth, which is only a half-hour drive away! There's a really interesting museum in the city called The Modern Art Museum that's unlike any other.


I suggest visiting these locations if you're in Dallas for 24 hours and want to do the maximum. You'll be able to get a sense of what it's like to live here while also seeing some of the city's greatest features.
