 Leslie Reynoso 5/5 a month ago Dallas Dental Arts has been one of the best dentist offices I've ever gone to. The whole experience is great. Raven at the front desk is incredibly kind and welcoming. The wait times are usually very short if there are any. Kristin does an amazing job during cleanings. She is both gentle, but thorough and very friendly throughout the whole process. Dr. Allen is great at her craft and very personable. I was referred to them last year and went in for a cavity filling, teeth whitening and bonding on my front teeth due to damage caused by an orthodontist when I was a teenager.  Becca Border 5/5 2 months ago I recently came to Denson Dental as a new patient and let me say they have the sweetest staff. Everyone here was amazing, including Dr. Denson. I've had some dentists who come into the room, peek in your mouth, and say barely two words to you before they're out the door. Dr. Denson was super personable and explained everything thoroughly. In making my appointment, I had reached out to multiple dental offices online to try to get in last minute, and Terri was the only one to actually respond to my online inquiry - when other offices never even bothered to try to contact me. However, I had been living abroad since the Obama era, and I am from the East Coast. Needless to say, I was without a dentist and needed help. After a quick Google search, I found Denson Downtown Dental and gave them a ring. Frantic and alarmed as I was, Terri helped me calm down and offered me a same day appointment. When I came in, I was impressed by how clean the office was, and its overall sense of calm. Terri greeted me with good ole' Southern charm and before I knew it, I was with Dr. Denson herself. She gave me an X-ray and an exam, while balancing professionalism with friendliness. She's a well-versed doctor with great bed-side manner, and a real human being who knows how to connect with her patients. I felt like every need was met and every question was answered. Both Terri and Dr. Denson were quite keen to enusre that I felt taken care of, and as I live alone and experience very little human interaction these days, that level of care went a long way with me. Now, I'm feeling better and my dental issue is resolved. They are money hungry. The only thing I can say that was great is the way the office looks and the staff who help you before the dentist. The worst dentist I've ever been to. Looks aren't everything. I asked for the fillings my insurance would cover and then they go on how they can't do the work that my insurance be covers because the more problematic problem needs to be addressed which is out of my budget... I proceed to tell them this is out of my budget and I received about 4 lectures about my teeth being important. AS IF I DON'T KNOW. The owner comes into my next appointment after me getting them to just fill what my insurance covers... to embarrass me about payment. I had a plan in my mind when I would pay for my tooth. Then she proceeds to tell she's going to do me a favor since I can't afford something. IMAGINE?? Imagine. My insurance can cover one thing I'm trying to get fixed... and she's more concerned about something else that I made clear I can't afford at the moment. On top of that I have a huge fear of the dentist due to my last one. I got a little afraid to get numb and she just pulls the plug on it all together. She never wanted to work with me in the first place. I just can't believe this is how this dentist is. I was so excited to come here. You can't make people feel uncomfortable or not welcome or act like they don't care about their teeth because they are vocal they can't afford it at the time. Coincidentally had gum issues after getting my teeth cleaned here while pregnant, came back because a tumor/growth appeared on my gum to the dentist who helped me the previous time saying “how long have you known you were pregnant?? why didn’t you tell us last time??” Which I made sure to repeatedly tell them mind you. He looks at my gum and tells me to come back in 2 weeks if it’s still there, I come back in a week because the issue is getting worse and worse only for him to tell me there’s nothing they can even do there, not only that their “gum specialist” is booked for another month. I suffer from an atypical nerve pain, and I had went to several doctors before him that couldn't tell me what was wrong my dentist gave me his info and he gave me a full treatment in 1 visit, yes he is very expensive but my life was worth the money! I really can't thank him and his team enough for what they gave me back! It's really scary when your in pain and also don't know what is causing it let alone what to do to treat it! Unfortunately, he is SUPER EXPENSIVE and will not work with any insurance - $800+ for an initial consult that normal Dr's charge at most $300 for. Additionally, he utilizes older technology (prescribed devices) that are actually more expensive and not the best option available today. Lastly, his secretary is nice at first, but a bear to work with. In conclusion, you can get better care elsewhere in the Dallas area for a better price. Went to 21st Century Dental instead and was much happier.
